Job Description
In this role, you will be responsible for the following:
- Project/contract management and project claims across numerous projects.
- A team of project managers and other Core Team functional members.
- Being the escalation point on critical functional Topics on a number of projects.
- Looking after customer Interfaces on their projects within a product Line context during project execution.
- Responsible for the product line, focusing on contractual obligations & stakeholder commitments.
- Completing project reviews in line with customer milestones.
- Contribute to the product line bid (including the preparation & approval process/hand-over process).
- Responsible for the performance of numerous projects, including Technical, Operational & Financials, along with any escalation on critical topics.
- Responsible for core team governance, routines, meetings & reviews.
- Project cash/sales management & contract margin improvement.
Qualifications
Essential:
- 10+ Years experience of Project Management within Rolling stock and/or Degree qualification in the relevant subject.
- PRINCE2 or APM qualified.
- Excellent knowledge of key project management principles including Programme, change and risk management, and Business acumen.
- Experience with Commercial/contracts with legal awareness.
- Ability to efficiently organise work load.
- Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.
Additional Information
- 6 - 12 month fixed term or inside IR35 contract
- Salary/rate – depending on experience
- Ability to work Hybrid
- 20 Days annual leave per annum plus bank holidays (pro rata)
