1.Quality Performance
- Management and submission of all Lifetime Quality Records (LTQR) on the project and supporting the certification and handover of the structures to the Client. This includes all records produced across the Alliance for BAM/Amey/ARUP/Siemens and all subcontractors/supply chain down to Tier 5.
- Identify and manage project quality risks in a graded approach, working with stakeholders.
- Coordinate the progressive submission of LTQRs within the project electronic document management system – ProjectWise
- Follow work packages through to completion and support the certification and handover of the works through implementation of the project certification of the works schedule;
- Measure project and team performance in line with key milestone dates using KPI metrics. Track, monitor and analyse data and progress using Business Intelligence dashboards;
- Ensure quality assurance and compliance throughout the design, manufacture, fabrication, construction, and handover phases of the project in line with applicable Network Rail standards.
- Develop and maintain the processes, methods and controls used in relation to production, compilation and submission of LTQRs;
- Oversee the application, performance and effectiveness of the processes, methods and controls used in relation to production, compilation and submission of LTQRs and facilitate improvements;
- Be the subject matter expert and offer advice, support, technical and contractual assistance to any and all interested parties on LTQR related matters;
- Ensure effective stakeholder engagement and communication throughout delivery.
2. Integrated Management System
- Proactively manage, coordinate and maintain the relevant parts of the Alliance Integrated Management System (IMS) with Process Owners and document authors.
3. Digital Construction
- Understand and navigate through Building Information Modelling (BIM) models and advise on capturing quality management data for reporting. appreciate the importance and management of data quality
4. Quality Culture
- Assist the Senior Quality Manager in designing and developing project LTQR management initiatives, policies and processes and controls and other Quality related matters. Assist the Alliance Head of Lean in identifying on each specific project, lessons learnt which are appropriately
- elevated so that the wider Alliance can benefit from a shared learning process.
5. People management
- The LTQR Assistant must have a pro-active, friendly and collaborative approach to building strong relationships across the Alliance and supply chain to assist in overcoming challenges that the project team may face in achieving strict compliance with the LTQR standards and requirements.
- To visit each project site each week to audit and inspect quality compliance with the IMS, materials and workmanship and provide encouragement and advice.
6. Supply Chain Management
- Develop close working relationships and partnerships with the project supply chain to assist them in achieving reliable standards.
7. General
- Attend project and programme meetings as required.
- Travel to offices throughout the UK (overnight stays may be required) to facilitate workshops/meetings.
- Adaptive to changing priorities and delivery to deadlines.
