Senior M&E Project Engineer
Location: Central London
Salary: £52,850 - £80,760 (inclusive of 20% Flex Fund)
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join a High Speed Rail business as a Senior M&E Project Engineer.
As an M&E Project Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in providing professional and technical support across various project engineering duties. You will be responsible for ensuring that the design, construction, and commissioning of assets comply with technical requirements, standards, and procedures while supporting the Lead Project Engineer and project managers in risk reduction and technical queries.

As an M&E Project Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in providing professional and technical support across various project engineering duties. You will be responsible for ensuring that the design, construction, and commissioning of assets comply with technical requirements, standards, and procedures while supporting the Lead Project Engineer and project managers in risk reduction and technical queries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the acceptance of design, construction, and commissioning of assets in accordance with technical and sponsor requirements.
- Provide configuration management, information exchange, and technical coordination support.
- Assist in the discharge of duties for CDM (Construction Design and Management) regulations.
- Interface with larger Civils and stations contracts, ensuring seamless collaboration and delivery-focused management.
- Understand and adhere to detailed design management and rail assurance processes.
- Support the Lead Project Engineer in areas such as tunnels ventilation, fire safety, and tunnel lighting.
- Facilitate technical coordination and collate responses for technical assurance processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in project engineering within Mechanical or Electrical Engineer, preferably within Infrastructure, but not essential.
- Familiarity with rail assurance processes and standards.
- Ability to manage detailed designs and discharge duties for CDM regulations.
- Commissioning experience is desirable.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with project managers and other stakeholders.
