Contract
To provide technical support to the MEP Asset Engineer, undertake site inspections, review certification documents and report writing.
2. Principal Accountabilities
*Provide technical support to the MEP Asset Engineer
*Undertake technical review of contractors' documentation and compliance design submission documentation
*Attend client meetings
*Undertake MEP site inspections and oversee the testing of installation works
*Review contractors' installation test certificates and "As Built" drawings
*Review of O&M's related to the MEP disciplines.
*Managing the preparation/review of Handover documents from Crossrail into RfL.
*Take reasonable care of your own and others' health and safety and of those who may be affected in the day-to-day delivery of this role by taking personal responsibility for working to the Crossrail Target Zero principles.
*Co-operate with Crossrail in all matters relating to health and safety, including following safe working procedures at all times.
*Act as a role model for RfL's vision and values, behaving in ways that are in alignment with RfL's Ways of Working. Encourage and support others to do so too.
*Promote equality in the workplace and adopt appropriate behaviour when interacting with colleagues.
*Take necessary care to properly protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of corporate information from unauthorised disclosure, modification or destruction. Never knowingly put Crossrail's information or information systems at risk.

*To be able to work effectively within extremely tight deadlines.
*To be tenacious but with a flexible approach when necessary.

*CRL Testing, Commissioning and Handover Teams

5. Person Specification
*Experience in the design and installation of MEP Systems
*Experience in inspection and witness testing/commissioning of MEP installation
*Experience of MEP design/renewal/maintenance
*Experience of MEP inspection/geometry
*Knowledge of current British Standards and Regulations
*Degree in MEP related discipline along with extensive experience
*Experience of design stages of a project in multi-site locations and within the Rail environment
*Experience of working in a Project with any of the following disciplines: Signalling, Power, Mechanical, Civil, Fire, Premises and Communication
*Thorough knowledge of CDM Regulations
