An established UK Rail development organisation who are heavily engaged in a major multi-million £ development and modernisation programme for our UK Railway infrastructure have an excellent permanent opening for an experienced and knowledgeable P-Way Project Engineer to be based initially in London, moving to Hertfordshire.

Role & Responsibilities:

Reporting to and assisting the Head of Engineering, you the Track Project Engineer will be accountable for supporting the production of integrated design and delivery in relation to Track project fundamentals. This will also include elements of Track Drainage, Earthworks and varied Structures.

You will be assisting in developing and implementing credible P-Way engineering policies and processes for effective technical design submissions. You will need to assess and review to ensure full compliance relating to industry standards as well as health, safety and quality standards also delivery and environmental impacts.

As the P-Way Project Engineer, you will be the technical lead, offering support in to analysing and understanding complex data to produce credible outcomes and solutions.


Requirements:

It is envisaged that the successful P-Way Project Engineer will be qualified to a Civil Engineering Degree or equivalent and possess a strong history working within a similar role. You might be a Chartered Engineer or working towards your Chartership and will be a member of a related Engineering institution.
