Long term ongoing contractual position offering competitive up to £450 per day

Our client a leading Rail engineering consultancy have a superb opportunity for an experienced and project detailed Senior Project Manager, to lead in the successful delivery of Mainline Stations, Buildings and Structure development and upgrade / refurbishment programmes to be conducted in London.

Role & Responsibilities:

Reporting to our clients client, you the Senior Project Manager will be accountable for the effective planning, control and delivery management of all multi-discipline aspects form planning, design through to build and delivery of on-site works, ensuring that all multi-discipline aspect of the project work are carried out in a safely and timely within line with the programmes, client and company specification and expectations.

The appointed Senior Project Manager would have working in a very similar position managing and directing the effective deliverables for multi-discipline mainline station, buildings and structures developments / upgrade programmes within alive environment, being accountable for:

• Ensuring collaborative working throughout all the discipline teams and that work is carried out safely
• Monitor performance against production targets whenever required
• Keeping client and key stake holders effectively informed of delivery progress
• Managing technical aspects, commercial and quality

The ability to confidently have instructions relayed to the workforce overseeing safety and communicate effectively at all levels is of paramount importance.

Requirements:

The successful Senior Project Manager will have previous experience working in a similar role and possess the relevant knowledge and experience to carry out relevant duties. You will be adept in the control and coordination of a workforce involved in Rail Programmes, be safety conscious with the ability to push output to ensure that the project achieves programme deadlines.

The Package Manager will possess the following;

• Effective client and key stakeholder management
• Strong knowledge of mainline rail stations, buildings and structures developments, including the multi-discipline aspects within
• Proven effective man-management and programming experience
• Effective communication skills and strong level of IT literacy
