Job Title: Project Controls Engineer

Duration: 6 months, Full time (5 days per week)

Exciting new opportunity for a suitably skilled and experienced individual to join one of our Rail clients Project Controls Team as Project Control Engineer on the High Speed Programme.

The Project Control Engineer is required to provide planning support to the High Speed programme of work which is currently in the pre-construction development phase. Working under the supervision of the Senior Project Control Engineer, the key deliverables for this position are listed below:

• Development and maintenance of Primavera schedules for High speed projects – specifically those for the Airport Variant Route and the NGV (Next Generation Vehicle) programme;
• Development of short-term plans with the Strategic Leads and Project Leads to produce plans and schedules to a level of detail appropriate to the stage of the project / programme;
• Updating of short-term schedules on a monthly basis;
• Production of data led elements of project reporting;
• Analysis of 3^rd Party schedules with regards to identifying interfaces and opportunities; and
• Supporting Senior Projects Controls Engineer.

Candidates put forward for this position must have the following skills / experience:

• Civils and Light Rail Experience;
• Experience of working on large multi-disciplinary programmes;
• Experience of working on pre-construction development programmes; and
• Primavera Experience (but experience of other planning software would be an advantage).
