Are you an experienced planning professional who has led planning teams at a senior level? We’re looking to recruit a Project Control Manager who can lead a planning division working across multiple projects within the Rail industry.
Working on TFL and London Underground projects, you’ll be responsible for the set-up and management of the planning team to support our project teams deliver on time and efficiently.
What will I be doing?
- You’ll develop and manage integrated programme schedules and provide support to our Programme Managers and Senior Project Managers
- You’ll operate as the senior planning professional, utilising your knowledge of programme change management, project integration and change control processes.
- You’ll be the interface with our key stakeholders, reviewing and appraising technical reports and project control documents associated with the programme.
- You’ll prepare accurate and timely progress reports for senior management on a weekly and monthly basis.
- You’ll chair work package management meetings for each phase of the programme delivery.
- You’ll manage a team of project planners, controllers, document controller and project admins.
- You’ll be responsible for managing the programme change, risk and opportunities logs.
What do I need to apply?
- Previous experience in managing a planning or project controls department in dealing with a range of complex infrastructure programme planning / scheduling
- Experience in pathway staged programme delivery in a Rail environment
- Proven ability to convert work scopes into robust programme plans
- Proficient in using planning related tools such as P6, MS Projects
- Ability to take own initiative, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Exposure to ASITE is preferrable
Other information:
Hours: 37.5 hours per week working Monday to Friday
This role can be carried out remotely with occasional visits into our London sites when required.
