Our client is seeking a well-rounded Project Development Manager to join their office in Immingham. You will be an experienced Engineer with either a strong design or project inception background coupled with an excellent understanding of project feasibility costing as well as developing scope and stakeholder management. As the Project Development Manager, you will ensure optimal development of major capital projects through strong cross-functional project management throughout the lifecycle. All projects are developed within a regional context and this role will deliver in strong collaboration with regional functions.


Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Conducting proactive cross-functional stakeholder engagement and communication (including core team meetings).
• Driving scope definition and clarifying customer and operational requirements.
• Ensuring scope integrates across commercial, asset and operations work streams resulting in a clear financial model.
• Driving the consenting/planning process where needed in a timely manner.
• Ensuring an effective resource plan is established optimising utilising the existing regional organisation.
• Assist project delivery utilising Regional and Group experts.
• Contributing to group best practices for project management.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Experience with development of Capital Infrastructure Projects above GBP 100 mill
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
• Flexible to travel and work at any location in the UK as per the needs of the role and project requirements.
• +10 years of Project Management experience 
• Appreciation of environmental regulations
• Project management qualification
