Project Director - Egypt High Speed Rail

The market leading infrastructure recruitment specialists are supporting a leading European consultancy and are requiring a Project Director for the Egypt High-Speed Rail

Mission:

• Provide vision and overall direction, manage the planning, designing, construction, and controlling of the project until successful delivery to the client.
• Oversee the day-to-day management of the entire project, direct the management of all design review activities, all construction functions and activities including Civil Works, MEP, Systems, Interface, Integration & Coordination and Systems Assurance.
• Develop and oversee the implementation of the works including schedule and quality, and project control tools and procedures to measure and control project performance
• Accountable for overall technical, project management, design review and implementation supervision and project performance within a mixed portfolio of projects and/or larger value, complex major projects from tender to implementation.
• Accountable for accurate and timely project reporting.
• Actively champion continuous improvement within a collaborative learning environment.
• Build and maintain a strong external personal profile which promotes the key values of the company

Requirements for the role are:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electronic or Civil engineering or Similar
• Preferably 15 years of previous experience in project management and 5 years of experience in management and implementation of similar projects and in a similar position
• Good Understanding and practical knowledge and experience of FIDIC condition of contract
• 5 years of cooperation with consulting company.
