As a Project Engineer (SISS) you will be joining a well established SISS Project team whom covers projects throughout the UK Railway Infrastructure implementing SISS/Telecoms Systems on stations as well as on line-side communications.
You'll typically be responsible for checking design against contract and construction requirements, ensuring materials and equipment lists are produced in readiness for construction activities, interface with construction and test teams offering technical support, checking documentation and analysing tenders ensuring that they are fully costed.
To be considered for this role you must have previous railway communications experience in particular in a SISS environment.
Business Operations Skills - Experience: (seeking candidates who have experience/ strong knowledge in any of these areas)
- Station Management Systems eg MICA
- Security CCTV (Analogue and IP) eg: Bosch, Hanwha, Verient
- Customer Information Systems and Displays eg: Infotec, Data Display
- Public Address and Induction Loops eg: Bosch
- Voice Alarm
- LAN Networking
- Working knowledge of DDA
Business Operations Skills - Qualifications:
- IRSE Engineering Manager ( Project Engineering) 7.8.110 F (or working towards)
- HND / Degree Qualified or industry experience
- CEng/ I Eng accreditation or working towards
