Project Engineer

Location: York or Crewe

An opportunity to join a leading Electrical Engineering specialist, offering bespoke electrical engineering solutions nationwide to the rail electrification and electrical supply industry markets.

I am looking to speak with project engineers who are electrically bias, with an electrical background to undertake the day to day coordination of all aspects of project engineering.

Key responsibilities for this Project Engineer role:

- To work in partnership with the Design team, ensuring technical specifications are issues as required for and by the client and sub-contractors.
- Report to the Project Manager.
- When needed and required, undertake CRE duties on NWR contracts.
- Undertake project specific risk assessments.
- Ensure project materials are procured in accordance with the design and in line with programme and budgets.
- Preparation of project specific Work Package Plans and task briefs.
- Ensure all activities comply with the companies HSQE policies, conform to contractual obligations and meet statutory HS&E regulations.


Experience required for this Project Engineer role:

- ONC/HNC in relevant discipline
- IOSH - desirable
- Rail experience
- Experience with Switchgear, protection systems, private networks and substations.

Package offered for this role:

- Circa £45,000
- 33 days annual leave inc BH's
