Project Manager - Civils

Location: Glasgow

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 dependant on experience plus package including

Summary

A leading provider of engineering solutions, is seeking a talented and experienced Project Manager to join their Glasgow office.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing a range of rail & utility projects and programmes across the UK, ensuring that client objectives are met, and projects are delivered to time, cost and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

- Project management of civils works across the UK.
- Establish overall success criteria for the project, including time, cost, technical and performance parameters.
- Prepare and maintain schedules of activity, including producing the master project plan.
- Manage the development of the project in accordance with approved plans and targets.
- Develop and implement resource plans and procurement of resources.
- Lead and facilitate the overall cross-functional project team.
- Identify and monitor project risks and planning and implementing risk mitigations.
- Prepare formal project progress and other reports.
- Take a leading role in interfacing with the client, other consultants, and managing stakeholders at all project stages.
- Advise the client regarding Health & Safety and Environmental issues and risks.

Requirements:

- At least 3 years of project management or site / construction management experience.
- Ideally have or be working towards APM accreditation.
- Preferred if NEC3: ECC Project Manager accreditation is in place.
- Preferred if experience is in Rail & or Utility Industry.
- Ability to be mobile across the UK.
