I am seeking a Project Manager who is focused on managing time, budget, scope, and quality through NEC3 Contracts and has acted as a Project Manager under the NEC3 framework. You should have extensive experience in monitoring change and its impact on scope and cost changes, ensuring the affordability of your projects.


You must be adept at reporting project progression to various stakeholders and interested parties, showcasing your expertise in communication and transparency. Experience in project planning, risk analysis, and developing mitigating actions to avoid slippage is essential.


You should have the gravitas to work across matrix management structures with various teams and possess the knowledge to manage Tier 1 Contractors, and ideally alliances (and similar entities) in delivering major projects.


For this role, we are looking for candidates with one or more of the following project management qualifications offered by esteemed institutions such as the Project Management Institute (PMI): Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), PRINCE2  (Projects IN Controlled Environments) Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), and Certified Project Manager (CPM) from the International Association of Project Managers (IAPM).


Rail experience, or major infrastructure experience is very important, as we move towards the awarding, then build and design of different railway systems.  This is a client organisation, who will be letting major projects to Tier 1 contractors or alliances.  It is a pure project management role, where you will have dedicated a significant part of your career developing the matrix of skills required in a professional project management role.


This must be demonstratable on your CV, rather than implied.  This isnt likely a role for someone who has recently delivered projects on the ground as a professional site manager or construction manager into Project Manager, unless you have qualified that experience though the various qualifications and gone on to spend considerable time within a client type organisation working in a matrix management environment.


Equally you dont need to have been carrying out the function for crazy number of years, rather you will have carried out all the activities, to a suitable depth and breadth.  If in doubt send your cv and we can chat.
