Project Manager – Consents

6-month contract Initially

Bristol - Hybrid working

£500 per day, inside IR35

Are you an experienced Project Manager with Consents and Environmental knowledge who can lead the preparation and implementation of appropriate consent strategies, including costs and risks, environmental and associated internal and external consents and assessments?

Do you have a good understanding of the purpose and use of statutory powers (Development Consents, Transport and Work Act Orders and Hybrid Bills) including developing business selection and assessments?

The Role as a Consents Project Manager

• Experience managing consents within the Railway industry (ideal).
• Strong knowledge of preparation of Transport and Work Act Orders.
• Have a working understanding of the principles of project management, with demonstrable experience applying tools and techniques for best practice.
• Hold an in depth understanding of environmental consents and assessments gained through experience of leading environmental impact assessments, habitat regulations and similar processes.
• Lead the management of consent risk by monitoring and reporting progress on consents performance in relation to project lifecycle.
• Lead the preparation and submission of statutory consent application through to determination and discharge of conditions.
• You will need Chartered Membership of a relevant professional institution – Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI).
• Hold a degree in relevant discipline – Environmental Management or equivalent.

This is a hybrid role; you will be expected to attend the client’s site in Bristol once or twice a week.
