Project Manager - LRT

A newly awarded EPC contract has been awarded for a complex LRT project in Israel and my client is looking for a team of engineers, one being the Project Manager.

The Project Manager will be responsible for overall management, control, administration and supervision of all engineering related work, services, tasks, activities, actions, Design and Construction required to be performed or implemented by or on behalf of the EPC).

Responsibilities:
Coordination between the Chief Engineering Design Manager and the EPC Management (Permits Manager, Planning and Scheduling Manager and the Management Team).

Promote design processes by providing solutions for obstructions, complete coordination with the authorities, complete required information and measurements.
Assist the Permit Manager in conjunction with authorities\entities\third parties.

Prioritize design processes and implementation according to the management decisions and the design schedules.

Control the performance of the design managers, including verifying objectives fulfillment.

Promote information sharing and coordination with the Construction Manager.
Accompany and control the quality control design process.
Administrative management of the designers.
Coordination with the Temporary Traffic Arrangement Coordinator in order to promote receiving of permits, prioritize assignments, compliance with the time schedules etc.
Control the handover process and obtaining permits from the authorities.

Authority: has the overall authority regarding management, control, administration and supervision of all engineering related work, services, tasks, activities, actions, Design and Construction required to be performed or implemented by or on behalf of the EPC.

Requirements:

Will be fluent in English and have an understanding of Hebrew, hold a university or equivalent degree in the required field of competence and/or discipline and conform to the minimum requirements as specified below.

Experience: 15 years in project management / 5 years as PM on LRT projects
