About The Role
We have a very exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join our global optical networks division. Working with world-class clients you will be a part of the team delivering next-generation upgrades and modifications to enhance technology and connectivity of communications networks across the globe.
Reporting to the Senior Project Manager the successful candidate will be accountable for the safe delivery of allocated projects to the client’s specification, ensuring that project objectives and agreed timescales are delivered in line with the agreed budget. Working closely with the Operations Director the successful candidate with be responsible for development of accurate scope, programmes, and project controls.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
As part of your day to day role, you are responsible for the following:
- The safe delivery of allocated projects
- Application of processes set out by Linbrooke Services Ltd throughout the project lifecycle
- Development and delivery of the project, on time, to budget and quality
- Securing the buy-in of the key stakeholders at the start of the project
- Management of the day-to-day execution of the project
- Management of the project to ensure that it is accurately cost forecasted
- Management and monitoring of resources to ensure they are available across disciplines to deliver the project
- Achieve or better the agreed project margin as defined at the outset of the project
- Working with the client and key stakeholders to establish effective collaborative relationships. Supporting effective delivery, performance measurement and management of change
- Providing accurate project performance data to senior managers and company directors on a periodic basis
- Implementation and management of the change control process
- Management of timely and accurate financial invoicing
- Ensuring proactive risk management is adhered to ensuring periodic review and action with the project team
- Management of client reporting as required including periodic project reports, programme updates, KPI data, performance and other requirements as specified
- Management of the project HSE including RAMS
- Conducting lessons learnt and dissemination to the wider organisation to ensure feedback to bids and tenders team ensuring lessons are incorporated into new works
- Proactively identifying and following up on opportunities to develop new business
- Identifying opportunities within the project and contribution toward sharing of best practice within the project management organisation
- Detailed understanding of CDM regulations (2015) and assessment of requirements as applicable to the project
- Always comply with the requirements of Linbrooke Services HSEQ policies in accordance with the Health & Safety at Work Act
- Actively participation in supporting & encouraging of Linbrooke Services Ltd’s HSEQ principles across projects
- Active participation in supporting the health and welfare of colleagues

Essential Attributes & Skills
- Successful relevant experience in deployment project management
- Educated to Degree/HNC/HND or similar standard
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of safety quality, and environmental procedures
- Knowledge of commercial and financial procedures
- Minimum 10 years experience in project management
- Experience in dealing with clients on a day-to-day operational basis
- Ability to multitask
- Experience of performing under pressure
Desirable Attributes & Skills
- Subsea and Terrestrial project delivery background
