Long term ongoing contractual position offering a competitive day rates!

Our client a leading Rail engineering consultancy have a new opening for an experienced and detailed Project Manager, to undertake the facilitation of GRIP stages 1 3, in-line with multi-discipline and Civils aspects of a Station development to be based in London.

Role & Responsibilities:

You the Project Manager for this Station development programme with Civils and Multi-discipline aspects will be concentrating on delivering stages GRIP 1 4 on their Station development programme based in London.

The appointed Project Manager would have worked in a very similar position managing, directing and assuring the effective project deliverables for multi-discipline, civils and Station developments with regards to GRIP stages 1 to 4.

You will be accountable for keeping effective communications up with the client and working collaboratively with them ensuring that credible and effective programme related scoping's, feasibilities, procurement s and design deliverables are actioned and produced.

Being the Project Manager within this role, you will be analytical in mind and need to possess;

  • A strong working experience and appreciation of NWR GRIP stages, in particularly concentrating from GRIP 1 4 relevant to multi-discipline Station developments
  • Past experience of working closely with varied engineers, Planning departments, procurement teams and design houses
  • Experience and competence with interfacing and liaising closely with Clients, Key-Stakeholders and Sub-contractors alike
  • Proven confidence and experience within client management, conducting or reviewing set requirements plans and milestones as well as effective progress monitoring, quality checking and reporting
  • Ideally hold a minimum of HNC (or equivalent) within a related engineering/ development remit
  • Possess or working towards a Project Management (APM) qualification such as Prince 2 or equivalent.
  • A strong working appreciation of UK Rail related health, safety and environmental
