My client is an experienced Building & Civil Engineering Company working with private and public clients. With a proud and distinguished history we have evolved into a multidisciplinary construction business through our three core divisions Construction, Rail & Minor Works.

Providing a wide range of civil, building, mechanical and electrical services across the rail network. Their rail division have successfully delivered schemes for our clients who include Network Rail, HS1, train operating companies and multi-national contractors within the rail industry with our focus on safe, timely delivery in line with the clients operational and quality aspirations whilst minimizing the impact on the live infrastructure.

They are now looking for Project Manager's to join their rail division based out of our Ashford, Kent office however, the role will necessitate travel to/from site.

Who they're looking for:

You will:

• Have recognised rail project management experience
• Have evidence of strong safety leadership
• Be conversant with NWR standards.
• Hold a Black Manager's Card and PTS

The role as project manager includes taking care of:

• Managing programmes.
• Owning the budget (planned v actual, opportunity and Risk).
• Embedding safety at all times.
• Managing subcontractors
• Managing direct labour teams.
• Attending and leading weekly meetings as project requires.
• Owning and positively manage change.
• Project start-up and planning.
• Project execution, follow-up and reporting.
• Project handover and close-down.
• Scope and schedule management.
• Quality management.
• Commercial management.
• Team/people management.
• Client/stakeholder management.
