A leading Rail Engineering Main Contractor have a superb opportunity for an experienced, detailed and committed P-Way Project Manager to lead in the Planning through to successful delivery of varied Plain Line and S+C renewals and installations and development programmes, based in the North.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Engineering Management team, you the P-Way Project Manager will be responsible for managing the affective planning and engineering activities of all P-Way and related infrastructure development operations identified within the entire development programme.

Being the P-Way Project Manager, you will be the strong technical lead and therefore accountable for identifying and resolving technical issues, reading and interpreting P-Way and other related engineering drawings to be able to effectively create credible plans and milestones to be worked towards. You will need to be able to accept design documentations whilst assessing what Construction / Engineering techniques need to be utilised.

Requirements:

It is envisaged that the successful P-Way Project Manager will have a strong work history within a similar position, experienced delivering in large scale, long term programmes by successfully and effectively planning and delivering Track / P-Way renewals, installation, enhancement and development projects.

*You the P-Way Project Manager will be adept in the reading and interpretation of Track Design Drawings and surveying. Instructing required surveys, Stressing, Tamping and Dozing requirements.

* You will be focused with regards to Track Quality, CTR Management and ensuring that the laid down systems and processes are followed and complied with.

*As an experienced P-Way Project Manager you will possess strong working abilities within Costing and commercial aspect, Planning and Change management and best resourcing utilisation skills.

*Being the P-Way Project Manager you will possess strong working appreciation and knowledge gained within NWR infrastructure (GRIP, CDM, NEC) along with strong understanding of related policies and procedures.

*You will be a rehearsed and effective communicator at all levels, able to meet, liaise, advise, and negotiate with Sub-contractors, clients, local Authorities and Key Stakeholders alike.

This is a superb opportunity for a delivery focused Principal P-Way Project Manager with experience of working within the UK Mainline environment delivering vital installations and enhancement programmes for P-Way.
