Project Manager - 3 Days a week
12 Month Contract

My client, a major Rail organisation, is looking for an Interim Project Manager to join their team. They are going through a major Station redevelopment programme and are looking for someone to take the lead on various aspects of this.
The ideal interim will play a pivotal role in leading on a new Car Park programme from initial design through to delivery stages. Works will include the delivery of lighting, drainage, CCTV and various Civil installations.
There will be significant multi-functional elements within this role, including commercial, procurement, financial reporting to external stakeholders and risk, change & assurance Management.
Key skills:
- Significant experience working in the UK Rail industry
- A background within Civils, Mechanical and Electrical engineering with Rail - Must have
- 5+ years of project delivery experience within a Rail Stations environment.
- Experience working with Local Authorities in highway redevelopment.
- Experience working on listed Railway structures in conjunction with heritages teams.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- A diplomatic approach to people and Project Management
- Experience working with a principal contractor or Train Operator is desirable
