Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications

For this role you must possess the following;

• A degree or equivalent in Construction or similar subject

• 4 Years+ experience as the Senior Project Manager in the Rail Sector
• Good verbal and written communication skills

• Previous experience as a Project Manager on large infrastructure projects
• Creative thinking to produce the brief, gather the team and push the project through the feasibility, outline, and thorough and concluding proposals stages of the design
• Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget

The Role

As the Project Manager you will be responsible for overseeing multiple sites simultaneously ensuring the delivery of these projects on time and within budget on one of the Manchester Stations. You will undertake an integral role on the project overseeing the planning, execution and monitoring of the sites as well as liaising with the clients.

Duties

• Reporting directly to the Contracts Manager
• Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
• Create the project strategy and an implementation plan
• Ensure company H&S and quality standards are all upheld
• Liaise and manage on site manage team sub – contractors
• Prepare project budgets and manage costs on the client’s behalf
• Lead onsite construction activities as the lead Project Manager
• Ensure project is on / ahead of time and re - programme as required
