You'll be working on...(what your role and responsibility is)
- To lead and manage the successful delivery of a large project or portfolio of works in line with the Line of Sight delivering projects safely, that delight our customers, are of a high quality, within the financial targets set and in line with agreed programmes.
- To lead by example by engendering the collaborative culture throughout the Project team, including suppliers and customers, ensuring that everyone works towards our common vision of a vibrant delivery mechanism that delivers on promises, chosen by customers and has safety at its core
- Ensure that the customer is considered at all stage of planning and delivering of your project
- Ensure projects are delivered to a high quality and service and that projects and deliverables are closed out effectively and in a timely manner
About you...(what you are skilled at)
Proven ability and experience delivering multiple concurrent Civil engineering projects within a rail environment, with an ability to manage rail projects up to £10m in value from GRIP stages 3-8 as a minimum, managing Design and Build projects with particular experience delivering Access for All (AFA) projects which is a must
- Excellent organisational, planning and time management skills; able to manage projects simultaneously without compromising on standards and quality
- Ability to develop friendly and professional customer focused relations with others; Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook
- Ability to assess and adequately mitigate all risks including those associated with working within the railway environment
-Technically savvy, with good working knowledge of Microsoft Project
- Experience managing projects and working with other departments to achieve project deliverables
- Excellent people management skills with the ability to influence and mentor to motivate employees to achieve exacting standards of compliance

* A Degree or HND qualified or similar in a Civil Engineering or related course. Alternatively has gained similar qualities through work related training and experience.
