My client is looking to grow their railway division by hiring 3 project Managers. The positions will initially be working on a prestigious and technically challenging bridge project based in the West Midlands, then moving on to other projects on the framework. The role will give you an opportunity to work for a company that are leaders within the rail sector, and develop you career in a supported manor.

Key duties will include:

• Overseeing the project portfolio of bridge works and structures throughout the Midlands region
• Leading a delivery team consisting of Assistant Project Managers and Site Agents
• Development of projects from a pre-construction perspective, providing programme specific information and managing the design process
• Working collaboratively with the client to meet significant project milestones and running the scheme to successful completion
• Coordinating the team activities in accordance with the programme

About You

The right candidate will ideally have a Project Management qualification, such as Prince 2, Six Sigma, or equivalent theory related training. You will also ideally have a HNC or HND in Civil Engineering. You will have strong commercial acumen and be very process focused. You will come from a railway background, but candidates with a background in Highways, Water, Nuclear, Costal Defence, and Civil backgrounds will be considered assuming they meet the other requirements.

You could be a Project Manager currently, or an Assistant PM looking to make the next step.
