Job Title: Project Manager

Contract: 12 Months

Location: Cork, Ireland

*OUTSIDE IR35*

We are recruiting for a Project Manager for a 12 Month Contract based in Cork, Ireland.

You will be required to work on site 5 days a week in Cork with no option for Hybrid Working.

Local Candidates are preferred, but would consider UK based if willing to travel to Cork weekly.

Job Description:

• Act as the on-shore Project manager for the Irish Rail CACR project.

• Manage the delivery of the CACR programme of works

• Support the development of additional sales opportunities for the programme management / system integration as requested by Irish Rail.

• Production of monthly progress reporting to Irish Rail

• Manage the project interface for operational delivery of the project with the Clint and Participating Units

• Chair weekly progress meetings - minutes production

• Management of Sub Contracts

• Manage the day to day safety management with the Project EHS

Extensive relevant previous experience of project management, client interface and technical integration.
Skills:

• Strong customer liaison focus.

• Good interpersonal skills

• Able to communicate clearly with all levels.

• Ability to Work under pressure and to deadlines.

• Strong Organisation and planning skills.

Qualifications:

• Educated to graduate entry degree level requirements or equivalent.

Experience:

• Experience of having successfully delivered medium / large railway system projects.

• Working knowledge of Planning and the use of programmes in the management of construction works.

• Appreciation of Health, Safety and Sustainability matters relative to the industry.

Worker to supply own mobile phone. Company will provide laptop.
