An opportunity for an experience Project Manager or Contracts Manager to join a forward thinking, leading provider of end-to-end asset lifecycle solutions within the railway sector. Offering and delivering a wide range of services from station infrastructure to complex, multi-disciplinary projects. Their expertise spans across key areas such as P-way, Civils and Electrification & Plant, undertaking structural inspections and testing to produce inspection reports to a high standard ensuring that all the works undertaken and in accordance with their policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities for this Senior Project Manage role:

- Responsible for all aspects of the delivery of planning, resource, access requirements, monitoring, reporting and presenting to clients.
- Demonstrate ownership of the planning process and safety critical decision making.
- Produce up to date programmes.
- Mitigating risks, anticipate potential challenges and implementation of contingency plans.
- Responsible for document control - risk assessments, site surveys, reporting, safe work packs, work package plans, construction phase plans, task briefings, site diaries, report KPI's and milestones.
- Maintain internal project folders, adhere to and promote company procedures and policies.
- Internally - colleague collaboration, assist and develop key members of the project delivery team, ensure staff are correctly trained for the allocated tasks and ensure correct competencies are available on site.
- Client, stakeholder management.
- Resourcing both internal and approved supply chain, project budgets, managing change events, liaise and procure external subcontract services and specialise and plant adhering to approved supplier processes.
- Assist with project financial forecasting and post project evaluation.

Key requirements for this Senior Project Manager role:

- Extensive experience within project/contracts management within rail - infrastructure.
- Degree or HNC/HND project management preferred but not essential.
- The ability to lead a team of circa 30 surveyors/examiners.
- Understand forms of contract (fixed price/cost reimbursable)
- Experience of documentation, reports, KPI's, sire surveys, work package plans etc.
- A desire to drive a workforce and be hungry to succeed.
