An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Planner based in Paddington, this role is in the UK and Ireland Systems, Signalling and Infrastructure (SS&I) team.
Role:
The successful candidate will lead the preparation and maintenance of project programmes using P6 Project Planning software.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop comprehensive project programmes for UK SS&I projects
- Identify critical paths and ensure action plans are developed and implemented
- Provide regular reports and feedback on key issues and focus areas
- Lead the preparation of any high-level strategic programmes as required
- Conduct regular project co-ordination meetings on the status of the project
Essential Requirements:
- Extensive experience in a project planning/scheduling role
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Understanding and experience of Earned Value Management
- Experience and expert knowledge of Primavera P6 Planning Software
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Desirable:
- Degree level education
- Knowledge and experience of Rail Signalling
- Experience of Quantitative Schedule Risk Analysis (QRSA)
