Project Technical Manager in Derby, Derby, United Kingdom
MPI are Looking for a Project Technical Manager in Derby on a 12 Month contract for a large rail company.
Description of the work package
- Lead the UK engineering team (D&IS On board team) to deliver and produce agreed deliverables as per the P6 plan on Rolling Stock On Board ETCS Upgrade projects.
- Lead Design Reviews for CL390 (Concept, Intermediate and Final design).
- Follow the Design for Quality Process and provide inputs for CL390 and CL180
- Support Homologation and Approvals for CL180
- Represent the UK engineering team (Design, Safety, RAMS, Cybersecurity, EMC, V&V and Homologation) in internal and external meeting.
- Report and/or Escalate issues to PM and Line manager
Duration
- From April 2023 to April 2024 – Maternity Leave cover.
- Full time: 37h/week
- Based at the Alstom Site in Derby, Litchurch Lane, T1 Building on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
- Based at home – Monday and Friday

- Class 390: Pendolino ETCS Refurbishment project.
