Consulting and recruiting for over three decades we now help customers in Airports , Energy , Metro , Ports , Rail , Roads , Telecoms, Waste & Water and can supply staff, labour and support services to civil engineering contractors, subcontractors, utilities, infrastructure owners and operators nationally.
Duties and Responsibilities:
*Provide commercial management and contract administration to the project works teams;
*Support the Project Works Managers and the Construction supervisors in delivering their responsibilities with particular focus on compliance with contractual responsibilities, with timely action as required;
*Support the Project Works team in preparing Project Management Communications and responding to Contractors Communications to ensure compliance / alignment with the Contract;
*Assist project works team in preparing enquiry packs, collating tender information at procurement stage;
*Analyse sub-contractor weekly and monthly applications for payment and prepare interim payments for approval by project managers;
*Produce weekly sites cost report for labour, materials and plants while maintaining accurate up to date records;
*Raise purchase orders for plants and materials and hire/off hire equipment for all constructions sites, dealing with suppliers to ensure best prices and reporting on supply issues to the Project Works Managers;
*Provide administrative and project support in the functional areas of resourcing and registering candidates;
*Maintain accurate and up to date records for site attendance, site induction, tool box talks, accidents, goods received, weekly site records, site safety inspections and all candidate related forms / administration;
*Support Project Managers with diary management and meetings, helping to prepare documents for meetings and assist in any other ad hoc tasks;
*Organise all necessary travel for the site team, including booking hotels and issuing itineraries.
*Allocation of candidates and works onto the internal systems;
*Process weekly payroll from start to finish in a timely manner;
*On a weekly basis checking all employees' timesheets ensuring there is no missing information;
*Thorough knowledge of Construction Subcontractors, Labour, Materials, Plants, Small tools, Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental procedures.
*Audit existing internal document control procedures
*Assist in developing and documenting recommended procedures
*Recruitment
*Provide a first point of contact for all client enquires, queries complaints and customer care issues, relating to contracts and project works.
*Raise work orders which will be allocated by the Project works team.
*Communication by phone and email with clients and third parties and candidates.
*Data logging, updating information on internal databases, filing and scanning
*Organisational skills and attention to detail are also essential due to the administrative elements of the role.
The ideal candidate:
*Well-developed problem solving skills, communication and good time management skills.
*Proven track of processing weekly payroll for labour work force from start to finish
*Well-developed working relationship with Colleagues, Management, Clients, Supply Chain and Subcontractors
