System Development

• Provide advice and support to internal and external clients or stakeholders to promote consistent and compliant use of projects client facing CDE, ProjectWise.

• Develop newProjectWise environments that:
  • automate the engineering design process in compliance with current standards
  • meet client requirements
  • are re-usable
  • are appropriate for the user audience.

• Provide customer support through communications including training materials and/or Bentley LEARNserver.
• Update interfaces between client and 3rd Party systems to reflect additions, amendments and deletions to the CDE.
• Document system processes and guidelines.

System Maintenance

• Provide support for existing project environments.
• Collaborate with IMIT, Compliance, Project Engineering Document Control teams to ensure best practice is maintained.
• Support the Information Management and Information Technology (IMIT) team in delivering system related improvement projects as required.
• Test, implementation and support product upgrades.
• Manage and support data migrations to client systems.
• Develop and execute routine reports to monitor data on project activity.
• Maintain system processes and guidelines.

Knowledge

• 2 years' experience of using ProjectWise Administrator for configuration and application support of projects. Using ProjectWise Administrator/ProjectWise Explorer to configure datasource security, workflows, folder structure, projects, and to manage users and groups.

• V8i ProjectWise administration

• ProjectWise Workflow Rules Engine and BS1192 Business Process
• Understanding of SQL within ProjectWise
• Computer Aided Design (CAD), Engineering, 3D/Modelling software applications and tools (including MicroStation and AutoCAD)
• Working with Engineering Teams to implement Project Specific requirements
• Excellent client service skills
• Ability to produce effective, detailed and accurate documentation
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software
