Rail Project Data Manager - London - £465/day

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Rail Project Data Manager. You will be based in London for a major client on a long-term contract basis, the initial duration is 6 months though will extend. The rate is up to £465/day on an umbrella basis.

The successful candidate will have a strong Rail Project Management background on civil engineering projects ideally, excellent data analysis and excel skills, an analytical mind who can liaise with clients and is financially and commercially aware. This is an office based role.

Key Responsibilities/Expectations

• This role will involve managing enquiries, front end data, monitoring SLA's & KPI's and managing front-end initial contact with outside clients. The role will involve managing potential risks and is customer focused.
• Establish the interface with external parties including undertaking initial risk assessment of outside and third-party works. Provide initial guidance, identifying who the Construction Design Management Client is, and liaising with all duty holders.
• Interpret and evaluate development intentions of outside and third parties, identifying areas of potential risk and providing direction and advice for the design and safe implementation of the works.
• Support the Asset Protection team with, and contribute to, the development of process to provide an effective and efficient service in accordance with service level agreements.

Skills & Experience

• Project management knowledge
• Technical Civil engineering knowledge
• Advanced Excel and data analysis ability
• Asset protection experience
• Previous successful experience of outside and third-party engagements
• Demonstrable understanding of CDM and Health & Safety
• Commercial, financial and contractual awareness and experience in cost estimating, forecasting and working to budgets and commercial/contractual/ financial criteria
