Rail Project Manager - Systems

A well known international Engineering & Manufacturing client is looking for a Rail Project Manager to support a new Metro project in the UAE.
Accountabilities
* Ensure the achievement of the targets of the assigned project in terms of Costs, Revenues, Margin
* Ensure Client relationship by ensuring a direct interface with the client
* Contribute to the promotion of business opportunities and manage the Change Orders/Variation Orders
* Ensure customer satisfaction monitoring
* Ensure contract claims preparation and disputes handling in accordance to contract provisions (e.g. identifying and applying any preventive/corrective action)
* Propose and finalize the budget of the project
* Directs and reviews the overall planning of project activities to identify critical milestones and priorities.
* Ensure the accomplishment of the outcomes in accordance with the contractual scope of work, the schedule, the quality requirements and Company processes
* Monitor, report and achieve the targets of the assigned project in terms of Costs, Revenues, Margin and Cash in
* Monitor, report and achieve the project KPIs
* Manage the Client relationship
* Provides and presents project status reviews to client.
* Prepares and/or reviews cost and risk analyses and extra work claims for the client.
* Manage the Claims and change orders
* Execute the staffing process of the project team
* Evaluate the performances on project team members
* Manage Sub contractors and their scope of work
* Coordinate through the installation, testing and commissioning phases of the project
* Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Required Skills/ Knowledge
* Not Less than 20 years of experience
* Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* GCC Railway experience is preferable
* Based in UAE is preferable
* Experience managing system integration projects with construction and technical subsystems.
* Experience in Mass Transit rail industry, signaling

Education/Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree
* Engineer Degree
* PMP Project Management certificate holder is preferable

Languages
* English Proficiency
* Arabic is a plus
