About the Job

We are recruiting a Project Manager to join our growing team to run multiple projects within the Rail Industry to support our portfolio. The role requires a Project Manager who can deliver projects from start to finish, has a great handle of cost management, managing the project and all stakeholders to ensure delivery to client specification, to time, quality and budget constraints.

The ideal candidate

The ideal person will have a strong focus on providing a high level of service, with a professional approach, determination and ambition. You will lead all project level dialogue with the client, suppliers and partners. You should be an excellent communicator and comfortable managing multiple tasks. You will also need to be a team player and have a problem-solving aptitude.

The skills required for this role are:

• Responsible for end-to-end delivery of projects on-time, within scope and within budget
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
• Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
• Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
• Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
• Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
• Report and escalate to management as needed
• Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
• Perform risk management to minimise project risks
• Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

Desirable:

• Experience of working on rail projects or the rail sector

Salary Range:

The reward package for this role is highly competitive offering £45,000 per annum with the opportunity to earn £5,000 incentive per annum for project delivery / completion.
