Our client currently has requirements for a Scheme Project Manager (in-scope) from their Central York Offices on an initial 6 month contract
As a Scheme Project Manager, your responsibilities will be:
- Deliver individual projects or parts of projects in a safe & environmentally responsible manner to time, cost and quality, in accordance with the Guide to Railway Investment Projects (GRIP), applicable Network Rail company standards, current legislation and procedures including HMRI guidance where appropriate.
- Provide a professional, first class, consistent and effective project management service including the use of performance indicators and project reporting systems in accordance with Network Rail’s company standards and guidelines.
- Hold monthly progress meetings with contractors.
- Provide reporting through management chain.
- Deliver part or all of small/medium projects in providing safety, environmental, design and construction, procurement, cost control, testing and commissioning of the managed portfolio.
Skills/Experience required:
- Successful relevant experience in rail project management.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, and strong stakeholder management skills.
- Project Contract Requirements Environment.
