Following the recent award of a new multi-million £ contract our client, a renowned leading UK Rail engineering development organisation is in need of an experienced, knowledgeable and committed Rail related Senior E&P Project Engineer. This is a permanent opportunity to be based in the North West.


Role & Responsibilities:

Supporting the Project Engineering manager, you the Senior E&P Project Engineer will be expected to manage and guide your team to produce effective E&P deliverables in line with the set project programme. This will include effective planning on your part conducting briefings and implementation or plans and processes through the designated E&P team.

As the Senior E&P Project Engineer you will be expected to;

- Conduct effective interface and collaboration with other discipline teams (P-Way, Civils, etc.)

- To ensure that the most effective E&P methods and engineering competencies are being utilised throughout the team.

- To compile needed and credible E&P engineering documents, including work programmes, WPP s and TB s and more often than not, the review of engineering documentations. You will need to plan and implement T&I processes for all E&P requirements.

- Be a strong lead and manager to a site based delivery team as well as an office based planning and administrative team.


Requirements:

You, the appointed Senior E&P Engineer would have worked in a very similar role, delivering Electrification & Power development and enhancement requirements effectively within a large scale multi-discipline, lengthy Rail development programme, with project values ranging in to the £ millions. You will possess the following;

- Professional working appreciation for Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental impacts to work delivery from end to end.

- Familiarity managing E&P project deliveries within Lineside, on-track station environments and understanding of IET Wiring regulations

- Computer literate with effective communication skills, both written and verbal. A good negotiator, able to gain respect from a team, clients and stakeholders

- Good working knowledge of the NWR policies and processes (GRIP), project experience for GRIP 3+

- Will have had experience working as a CRE or Deputy CRE

- Will hold a PTS, IOSH or equivalent and a valid UK Driving Licence
