Senior Project Engineer CRE

Permanent Position

Location: Eastern Region (Newcastle, York, Leeds, Derby)

Salary: £50,000 to £55,000

My client is an award-winning infrastructure business that has multiple opportunities for their rail division based along the Eastern region. This incorporates Newcastle, Leeds, Sheffield and Derby. My client is looking to recruit a Senior Project Engineer CRE

To provide technical support and assurance to the project cycle by carrying out the role of CRE – Civils.

Support the project teams in delivering the business plan by providing technical support within our core engineering disciplines. Focusing on bringing innovation and challenge to the design process, together to support development throughout the planning and construction phases of individual schemes.

• Qualified to degree level, HNC/HND or equivalent in Civil Engineering
• Working towards professionally qualified engineer status in a relevant discipline (desirable)
• Experience of working within the rail industry with a level of proven capability in core discipline areas and an overall knowledge of multidisciplinary work areas.
• Understanding of site working environments and protocols
• Knowledge of Network Rail Standards and Governance
• Experience of working with and driving a high level of engineering principles
