Our client has over 90 years’ experience within civil engineering and have developed a strong, global reputation for delivering large-scale projects within the rail, highways and energy sectors. They are dedicated to maintaining and building on their client relationships which has enabled them to win significant new works, allowing them to continue to deliver complex, multi-disciplinary, engineering-led projects.

Due to the company winning an abundance of new work, they are now seeking 2 Senior Project Managers to join their specialist rail division!

IDEAL CANDIDATE

You’re the Senior Project Manager I’m looking for if you can demonstrate experience at this level on rail civil engineering projects greater than £20million in value. Your expertise can lie within station refurbishments, general civils, platform modifications, depot refurbishment/builds, structures – if you have experience, gravitas and have a fantastic success rate when it comes to project delivery at such a high level, you could just be what my client is looking for.

ABOUT THE JOB

As a Senior Project Manager, you will know this is no easy task. You will essentially be responsible for managing the senior management team, including Design, Commercial and Project Managers. You must be able to ensure the teams are working in harmony with each other throughout the project and maintaining the highest standards of work, whilst reporting regularly into the Project Director. You will also be responsible for financial and technical reports, reporting to both the client and Project Director. This is no easy job as you will know, so you must have the drive to complete each project with 100% success!

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience as a Senior Project Manager for a main contractor
• MUST HAVE rail contractor experience – no clients or consultancies
• Experience working on multi-disciplinary rail projects
• HNC/HND/Degree in relevant engineering discipline (desirable)
• Chartered Civil Engineer (desirable)
• PTS

PACKAGE

• £65k - £85k basic salary DOE
