Job Description:
As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of high-profile strategic initiatives crossing multiple functional workstreams and teams.
Managing and coordinating the project resources, facilitate communication and information exchange between the teams for efficient and effective project delivery
You will be engaging key stakeholders across the business, including executives, defining new business processes, and optimising existing ones.
Work closely to instil the governance measurement to ensure accountability and viability of the projects delivered within the workstreams and will apply a delivery approach that is tailored to the client environment thus maximising the chances of success for the workstreams and to help bring forward ROI for the project
Responsibilities
• Determine the approach required to deliver the desired outcomes and a set of technical requirements in terms of people, process, data, and technology
• Liaise with other workstreams to ensure consistency/alignment and cross workstream sharing/learning of ideas/thoughts
• Manage programme/project scope, plans, costs, risks, issues, and dependencies to allow tracking of the overall progress of projects and deliverables
• Review and manage project deliverables to ensure quality of team deliverables / outputs
• Reporting, through agreed lines, on workstreams programme/project progress through highlight reports and end-stage assessments
• Liaise with appointed project assurance representatives to assure the overall direction and integrity of the workstreams
Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Management, Business Administration, Engineering, IT or a related area
- Significant experience managing cross-functional programmes, including external and internal stakeholders
- Proven experience in delivering digital initiative projects in asset intensive industries.
- Advanced Excel PowerPoint and other Microsoft Suites Excellent communication skills, ability to simplify complex topics for broad audiences
- Client facing accountability for delivering output to high profile projects.
- Analytically and strategically minded.
- Extremely organized and detail-oriented
- Project Management knowledge/certification including Waterfall and Agile (PMP, Prince 2, SAFE, etc.)
- Right to work in the UK
