We are currently dealing with a major Rail Engineering Contractor who are looking at expanding their Derby team by recruiting a Project Manager, specifically undertaking Stakeholder Management. The purpose of the role is related to Managing the multiple and diverse Stakeholders surrounding the works, defining process to facilitate communication, work in the community, schools and emergency services to inform and advise on the works, produce regular newsletters to keep the Stakeholders informed, manage expectations in Stakeholders, and positively promote the electrification of rail in the local region. You will work closely with a network of colleagues in the Assurance and Delivery teams to support activities with Stakeholders which includes maintaining and securing Consents across all projects assigned to the team. Typical duties of the Stakeholder Project Manager can include, but not limited to:  

• Identify and schedule all Consents Contacts.
• Support the Sponsor with Consents deliverables.
• Design a process to manage all stakeholders.
• Produce and Maintain a Project Stakeholder Management Plan.
• Identify and manage a schedule of all stakeholders.
• Be the first point of contact for stakeholders
• Set up a framework of meetings with stakeholders across many mediums, Teams, in person, workshops etc.
• Understand who will need to communicate with stakeholders and be the internal principal contact for communications out of the project.
• Support Project Delivery Team during project Close Out including process mapping activities where Stakeholders are engaged and working with the close out programme to ensure Stakeholders are engaged and taking part to ensure we deliver on time.

Job Requirements

• Engineering environment background or knowledge- ideally a rail background
• Experience within a similar Project Management role
• Experience in dealing with Stakeholders.
• Driving license
