Role: Technical Project Manager (Optical Networks)

As a Technical Project Manager you will be accountable for the safe delivery of a number of small to medium sized projects, to the client's specification. You will need to ensure that project objectives, agreed timescales and budgets are all delivered. This will involve the delivery of the installation of telecommunications systems, such as Fibre and Data cabling into data centres.

You will ensure that all principles set out by the company standards and processes throughout the project lifecycle are applied. You will liaise closely with all internal and external stakeholders at the start, during and end of projects to ensure engagement throughout the project lifecycle.

What you will need to be considered for this role:

• Previous technical project management experience in the deployment of telecommunications equipment.
• Ideally hold a recognised Project management qualification or have experience of working with Project management tools.
• A technical knowledge of telecommunication networks, DWDM, CIENA systems, Fibre and Data centres would be highly beneficial due to the nature of the projects you will be involved in.
