I am working with a rail contractor who are looking for a Audit and Assurance coordinator to join their safety and services team, based in either Doncaster, Derby or Leicester.
The role will involve:
- Coordinating external audit and assurance activity with clients- ISO, FORS, RISQS- facilitating each audit and managing areas od improvement or non compliance
- Working with Head of Safety and Services in maintaining business certification necessary to address the scope of operations
- Liaising with the Engineering Director and team ensuring engineering audit and assurance activity is included in overall programme
- Prepare annual internal audit and assurance programmes covering the scope of HSQE and Supplier requirements
- Work with the Head of Procurement and Corporate Head of Safety & Services team in providing audit and compliance data to maintain/improve the management arrangements associated with supplier approval, audit and assurance activities.
Ecperience
The role will involve:

Ecperience
- Excellent IT skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Full driving licence and access to vehicle
- Flexibility to travel to different locations as required based on audit timetable
- Produce reports and able to analyse data and interpret trends to establish any issues or pre-empt areas for concern.
- Basic understanding of the railway and terminology or at least 18 months experience within a similar role.
