A well known international engineering company is looking for Quality Control Engineer for a large LRT railway project in Jerusalem.


Education and professional Skills

* Electrical / Mechanical engineering degree

Experience

* At least 5 years of experience in Quality Control in Large Railway projects (subsystems as OCS, PSS, Cooms, TPS, etc) with experience in the following tasks:

Activities / Responsibilities
* Approval of material prior to submission to the state
* Review specifications to identify all testing and inspections required and consolidate into unified testing matrix. Also, will have the authority to require additional test/s which are not includes in the testing matrix if seem necessary
* Incoming inspection of material.
* Continues inspection during the construction phase upon all various systems and sub-contractors.
* Materials Delivery/Inspection (predominantly equipment).
* Review and follow up of the sub-contractors' Quality Records.
* Carry out Off-Site Prefabrication inspections as required at Sub-contractor sites.
* Final examination of all activities, approval, and preparation for handover to the state.
* Attend mutual QC Walks with the client.
* Activate for punch-list closure.
* Request for Information System.
* Non-Conformity opening and activating for closure with the QA team design and construction team if required (Tier dependent).

* Participating at Quality inspections at source (source inspection) and audits

* Participating at Execution / Quality meetings whilst raising quality issues to the construction manager (inputs and outputs).
* QC team is responsible to all activity quality level throughout the whole duration of the project.
