1. Quality Performance
- Support the management of project quality risks in a graded approach, working with stakeholders.
- To carry out construction inspection and testing routines on site and advise the construction teams on inspection and test plans and checklists. To carry out surveillance on quality management records such as inspection and test plans, check sheets, certificates of conformity.
- Gathering the data for the project quality performance indicators to support the achievement of Key Result
- Areas (KRAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) using Business Intelligence dashboards.
- Non-conformance management of the Alliance processes, procedures, work instructions and specifications and raised with the Project Team, Business Systems Lead and Alliance Management Team (AMT) to engage support and ownership in problem solving and improvement.
- Facilitate improvement in quality standards on project sites and office locations to demonstrably measure improvement through reduced waste and rework, fewer defects, cost savings and increased customersatisfaction.
- Advise delivery teams and support the development and implementation of quality plans, inspection and test plans and quality control methods.
2. Integrated Management System
- Proactively manage, coordinate and maintain the relevant parts of the Alliance Integrated Management System (IMS) with Process Owners and document authors.
3. Digital Construction
- To have a basic understanding of Building Information Modelling (BIM) models and support the capture of quality management data for reporting.
- Appreciate the importance and management of data quality
- Be enthusiastic in the use of technology in construction.
4. Quality Culture
- Assist the Project Quality Manager in developing project quality management initiatives, policies and processes and controls and other Quality related matters.
- Assist the Alliance Lean Team in identifying on each specific project, lessons learnt which are appropriatelyelevated so that the wider Alliance can benefit from a shared learning process.
5. Supply Chain Management
- Work with procurement teams to ensure due diligence in assessing potential suppliers prior to approval.
- Monitor suppliers and subcontractors onsite to assess if quality standards are met for materials and product supplies.
- Develop close working relationships and partnerships with the project supply chain to assist them in achieving reliable standards.
- Undertake monitoring of work packages versus contract specifications, inspection and test plans, certificates of conformance and other requirements.
6. General
- Attend project and programme meetings as required.
- Travel to offices throughout the UK (overnight stays may be required) to facilitate workshops/meetings.
- Adaptive to changing priorities and delivery to deadlines.
