ewi have partnered with one of the market leaders within international infrastructure, who is currently delivering two mega projects in Australia, with a prospect to expand their operations across the region.
Joining the team is an excellent opportunity for being part of one of the biggest Civil/Energy projects in the country. As a Quality Inspector you will be responsible for general/joint inspections on site in accordance with the relevant ITPs and drawings in order to ensure a correct and timely communication of any quality issues/non-conformances collection of all relevant Quality Records.
Qualifications:
* Tertiary Qualifications or related discipline such as, Degree in Civil Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Experience:
* Minimum 3 years experience working in the Construction Industry in a similar role - preferred
* Experience working on large scale construction projects or other suitable projects works
* Experience in Microsoft office suite and any EMDS.

Core Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
* Ensure compliance of all relevant permanent supplies and accompanying documentation.
* Coordinate with procurement department for the delivery and inspection of all types of permanent supplies.
* Draft of Non-Conformances immediately following their identification.
* Undertaking testing and inspections of permanent supplies
* Assessing Quality Records to ensure compliance and ensuring records are updated in the electronic and hard files in a timely and efficient manner.
* Verify the implementation of corrective and preventive actions proposed in the Non-Conformances.
* Communicate and resolve any permanent supplies quality issues proactively with relevant procurement representative.
* Comply with the project policies and procedures as amended from time to time.
* Complete required tasks in a timely manner.
* Undertake quality inspections on site and in subcontractors worksites to ensure conformity with the relevant drawings.
* Collection of work Lots and Quality Records.
* Draft of Non-Conformances Reports (NCR).
* Defects management. Attend regular Quality and Construction meetings in his own area of responsibility.
* Review and consult with Site Operation Quality Coordinator on matters of surveillance and inspection, in particular regarding subcontracted works.
External
* Builds and maintains an appropriate relationship with relevant Client and Subcontractors representatives
* Maintains productive relationships with the government representatives and other key stakeholders
* Directs all community enquires to the Community and Stakeholder Department
* Suppliers and Service Providers
* Subcontractors
