Quality Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quality Manager to join our team for an exciting airport asphalt runway project. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the development of a critical infrastructure project.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS) for the airport asphalt runway project.
  • Establish and maintain quality control processes to ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and specifications.
  • Creat ITPS
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify quality-related issues and non-compliance.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders, including engineers, contractors, and consultants, to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions.
  • Monitor the construction process to ensure adherence to project plans, specifications, and quality requirements.
  • Coordinate with external testing laboratories for material testing and quality verification.
  • Provide training and guidance to project personnel on quality control procedures and best practices.
  • Document and report quality-related metrics, including non-conformance reports, corrective actions, and preventive measures.
  • Conduct root cause analysis investigations to identify the underlying causes of quality issues and recommend preventive measures.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations related to airport runway construction.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Quality Manager or similar role in the construction industry, preferably in airport runway projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of quality management principles, techniques, and tools.
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations, such as FAA specifications for airport pavement construction.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse project stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work under tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in using quality management software and tools.
  • Relevant certifications in quality management (e.g., Certified Quality Manager, Six Sigma) are a plus.
  • Some working at night is required
