Quality Systems Coordinator / Advisor – Rail

Location: Chesterfield , Derbyshire

Salary: Circa £35,000 - £40,000

Summary

a multi-disciplinary railway turnkey business, capable of undertaking a wide variety of rail projects, from solution recommendations to complete design and construction who are looking to hire a Quality Systems Coordinator to support the business by controlling documentation which directly or indirectly forms part of the company' Management Systems.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to;

• Managing, maintaining and improving the QMS system, ensuring all programs, policies and procedures are up to date and in line with business best practice, compliant and regulatory requirements
• Ensuring the system and documentation conforms to ISO9001:2015 and ISO14001:2015
• Review, formatting and updating documents to ensure they meet company standards
• Responsibility for planning and managing the internal audit schedule
• Schedule, manage and chair review meetings for quality, environmental
• Support cross functional departments with their compliance and performance measures for quality and environmental
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement
• Maintain the database with accurate information

Seeking candidates with;

• Experience working in similar role within the rail / construction sector
• Quality Assurance experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organisation skills and a good attention to detail
• An understanding of ISO <phone number removed> and 45001
• Knowledge of document management systems is desirable
• Prior experience in auditing quality management systems (desirable)
