Senior QA/QC Manager: Qatar

The market leading infrastructure recruitment specialists are supporting a leading international consultancy and are requiring a Senior QA/QC Manager to ensure overall establishment of the management system and be responsible for its effectiveness, which includes Quality Assurance, Quality Control and Risk Management System

Job Summary:

• Develop, implement and manage Integrated Management Systems, striving continuous improvement, as well as ensuring compliance with ISO <phone number removed> , ISO 45001 and contractual requirements related to the contract and to maintain ISO certifications according to contractual
• Support Maintenance Director Office to establish the IMS to address Quality Assurance, Quality Control and Risk for the Organization and to ensure that the established Policies and Management System comply with the international
• Establish the management plan/procedures for the Quality Assurance, Quality Control and Risk and its adherence to the relevant standards & contractual
• Drive assurance programme within and associated contractors in pursuit of continual improvement by addressing audit findings, risk derived from audit outcomes and required
• Provide guidance to the maintenance teams regarding quality assurance systems/ procedures.
• Report to Maintenance Director Office with audit trends and action updates at periodic business review/ management Manage day to day operation of the QA & QC Departmental activities and associated relevant issues.
• Support other departments / sections heads of the Organization to drive continuous improvement.
• Develop, Implement, and manage the Quality control activities based on the risk profile for all subsystems, striving continuous improvement as well as ensuring compliance with approved 0&M, Asset Maintenance documents and contractual requirements related to contract and promote right first time'
• Manage, organize, coordinate and implement efficient reporting process for various Engineering & Maintenance Reports (Failure/defect, progress, TANC, ) to Management, Sub-system and external Stakeholders/Customers.
• Ensure to maintain the overall document control at high standard.
• Report to Maintenance Director Office on the performance of the QMS & any need for improvement by proactively identifying, developing, and deploying metrics to gauge the status and effectiveness of

Requirements for the role are:

• Degree qualified in Engineering, preferably project / quality management, business management or equivalent
• Master's degree (advantage)
• 10+ yrs experience in the Quality Management System, developing quality policies and procedures
• 5+ yrs at Senior Management Level
• 10+ yrs experience in Metro / Railway maintenance industry
• Successful completion of ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Course with QA/QC experience
• In-depth knowledge in the international standard of Quality Assurance Management
• Applicable certification in Quality e.g. Six Sigma (green/black belt), Lean Skills, Certified Quality Engineer (advantage)
