Their UK operation employs around 600 people covering existing and “start-up” operations spanning eight locations including several depots across the country including a vast manufacturing facility here in the UK.

The company have secured a number of high profile orders with full lifecycle maintenance contracts to manufacture and maintain over 200 brand new trains and as a result, will look to increase their headcount to 2000 by 2020 to meet the demands of these contracts.

This site is looking to hire six supplier quality engineers throughout 2017 with opportunities for two career focussed individuals to make that step up into a senior role. This job also presents a unique opportunity to gain experience in the Rail Industry with the manager welcoming applications from candidates operating in Aerospace and Automotive industries.

ABOUT THE JOB

As Supplier Quality Engineer, you will travel across the UK and Internationally working with the suppliers to ensure the quality of their products and the management systems that sit behind their products meet the needs of this global technology giant; therefore, only apply if you are willing and able to meet the travel demands that come with a role of this nature. This will be a wide ranging and demanding role that will see you get involved in bid and tender revisions, supplier gate review processes, supplier audit and inspections, managing supplier development processes, performance reporting as well as participating in Kaizen and six sigma processes. This is great role which will guarantee you that no two days will be the same!

THE REQUIREMENTS

You’re the Supplier Quality Engineer I am looking for if you can demonstrate a track record in engineering before progressing your career into a supplier quality role. You will also need an HNC minimum in an engineering discipline backed up with a lead auditors qualification

THE SALARY

• £35-40k + Bonus (10%) + Pension + Healthcare + 25 Days Holiday + BH
