A well known international consultancy is looking for Systems Assurance Engineer to support an end client in Melbourne. This Systems Assurance Engineer can join either Melbourne or Sydney consulting team.

The successful Systems Assurance Engineer will be responsible for undertaking activities that will provide a high level of advice to deliver tangible benefits to our clients, with a focus on rail/rolling stock activities and projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
? Requirements engineering and management, including investigating, identifying and allocation of requirements, verification and validation activities and management/documentation of changes using appropriate methodologies and tools
? Perform, review, manage and/or assess hazard analyses (and provide advice and/or training where required) and contribute to Safety Assurance processes, documentation, reporting and delivery, including Hazard/Risk Registers, mitigation controls and assurance evaluation.
? Preparation of systems scheme's and plans to provide system definition and direction, and identification of project interfaces to identify and inform requirements, risk and integration issues and priorities
? Support, consult and collaborate with the broader project management and delivery team to deliver integrated and assured outcomes

Qualifications:
? Bachelor of Engineering, Risk Management, Systems Integration or equivalent


Skill Set:
? Demonstrable consultancy and project management experience
? Demonstrable experience and expertise in the preparation and development of Safety Assurance Reports/Safety Cases and related documents
? Experience with Safety Management Systems, and application of risk management methodology
? Experience in completion of hazard analysis coupled with managing hazard logs and hazard workshops
? Demonstrable subject matter and industry/sector knowledge
? Ability to produce high-quality document deliverables to required timeframe
? Meticulous attention to detail, combined with the ability to balance this against broader strategic considerations/big-picture thinking and customer service
