Salary: £40750 - £65,580
This is a fantastic opportunity to work client side on the prestigious HS2 project. There are currently two positions available: one working on technical assurance for the main work civils package and one position as technical assurance for the 4 HS2 stations.
The Technical Assurance Manager will be working client side and be responsible for planning the assurance and certification strategy for several Design and Construction Work Packages and agreeing the acceptance criteria with the main contractors.
Reviewing that internally within HS2 inital verification is being done (verification activity plan) and identifying risk.
Quality management - looking at overall holistic process piece, good systems and engineering integration knowledge.
Must have excellent diplomacy skills and excellent stakeholder engagement and ability to influence key personnel.
Be able to make autonomous decisions, due to the size and scope of projects there is always going to be discrepancies between the contracts.
This role can be carried out with home working but interaction with contractors and attendance at contractor offices when needed is must.
Requirements:
+10 years experience within a technical assurance role
Experience with system integration and understanding of NEC3
